An exceptional oil on canvas portrait of a lady with pearls, probably French, 17th century. Subject bears considerable similarity to other that of known portraits of Elisabeth de Bourbon (known also as Elizabeth of France), daughter of Henri IV, (1602-1644), married Philippe IV of Spain. Portrait similar in style to others by Pierre Mignard. Has been cleaned and re-lined, conservation records available. Approx. 22"x18"
