A very fine English Regency-William IV serpentine mahogany server, c.1820. A reeded splash panel centered by a fan form carving, over a deeply serpentined top over three conforming beaded drawers, all having original brass pulls, on reeded and ring-turned tapered legs, cast brass cuffs and castors. Secondary wood is primarily mahogany, some pine. Could also be used as a desk. 29 h. to top of server, 33 Ό h. to top of gallery, 50 w. x 26 d. (at deepest point).
