A Wedgwood Caneware Oval game pie tureen, liner, and cover, c. 1870, marked. In outstanding condition. The cover with a rabbit finial, with groups of fowl and hares to each side, the tureen molded with fowl amongst swags of fruiting vines, within rope-molded borders 6 ½” h. x 
10 1/2 in. wide.

An outstanding Chippendale Architect’s Table, c. 1740, highly inlaid mahogany top tilting on ratcheted stand, original scrolled skirt and knee returns, pull out writing desk section with original fire gilt rococo pull, fabric lined writing board sliding back to reveal a fitted interior with several secret drawers. 30 ¾” h. x 38” w. x 23 ¼” d. The table descended from the Roman family of New Orleans. (Andre Bienvenu Roman was twice antebellum governor of Louisiana).
