An outstanding Georgian Oak Linen Press, c. 1770, the upper section with breakfront having ogee molded cornice and center rectangular fielded panel with similar fielded paneled doors to either side, the base with four square fielded panels and five various drawers on a lovely figured skirt with ogee bracket feet, all having fine color and patina. This style of press is often referred to as a “hanging press,” because it can be used as an armoire.
