A pair of 19th, possibly 18th century Dutch Delft Polychrome tulipieres, marked De Metaale Pot factory, painted in blue, green and red to the urn-shaped body with a figure allegorical of summer to the front, the reverse decorated with a vase of flowers, the everted shoulders decorated with ornate flower heads upon a deep blue ground, complete with ten radiating nozzles, the sides applied with lizard shaped handles in relief, together with a removable pyramid upper section, all over decorated with elaborate floral decoration applied with an additional six nozzles to an everted raised shoulder all above a mask to the front and reverse.
