An outstanding Federal mahogany work table or sewing table, Salem, Massachusetts. Circa 1805-10. The square top with outset cookie corners above three drawers, the top drawer with writing desk and hinged compartment, the second drawer divided into nine sections above the slide pull out with basket, all flanked by turned stiles continuing to fine spiral-turned tapering legs ending in peg feet on brass casters.
